Northwest Advocacy Foundation is a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) legal services provider based in Seattle, Washington. We provide quality, affordable legal assistance to low- and moderate-income individuals in King County, Washington, and the surrounding areas. Specifically, we offer services in the areas of family law and landlord-tenant law, with an emphasis on cases involving domestic violence.
In an effort to make justice accessible for all, we offer our services on a sliding scale, based on household size and income. We also provide “unbundled” services, for pro se litigants who are looking for advice and assistance, but not full representation. We believe that there are many different ways to provide quality support to clients, and we are committed to working with you in whatever capacity you deem most fitting.
Our mission is to bridge the justice gap by helping underserved populations access our legal system.
Your first meeting with our office will be a consultation, at which we will discuss your concerns and your goals. In this meeting, we will present you with your options for moving forward, and we’ll also go over what obstacles may occur along the way.
We pride ourselves on being accessible and upfront with our clients. Should you chose to engage our office in assisting with your legal matter, you can expect clear, consistent, and open communication about your case.
